What We Believe

Picture
The Word of God
We believe that the Bible is the Word
of God, fully inspired, infallible, and inerrant in the original manuscripts. It was written under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and is the supreme and final authority in all matters of faith, conduct, and doctrine.

The Trinity
We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. These three are equal in every divine attribute and execute distinct but harmonious roles in the work of creation, redemption, and providence.

God the Father
We believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love. He mercifully concerns Himself with the affairs of humanity, hears and answers prayer, and saves from sin and eternal judgment all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

God the Son - Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary. He lived a sinless life, performed miracles, and taught with divine authority. We believe in His substitutionary and atoning death on the cross, His bodily resurrection from the dead, His ascension into heaven, His ongoing intercession for believers, and His future personal, visible return to establish His kingdom.

God the Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. He regenerates, sanctifies, and empowers all believers in Jesus Christ. We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells all believers at the moment of salvation, sealing them for the day of redemption. He serves as an abiding helper, teacher, and guide, equipping believers for godly living and service.

Salvation
We believe that all people are sinners by nature and by choice, and are therefore under just condemnation. Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. We believe that only those who repent and place their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord are saved from eternal condemnation in hell and receive the free gift of eternal life with God in heaven. This salvation is secured by the finished work of Christ and cannot be lost.

The Church
We believe in the universal church, the spiritual body of Christ, composed of all true believers from every nation and generation, with Christ as its head. We also affirm the local church as a visible assembly of believers in Jesus Christ, associated for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and the work of evangelism. The local church is tasked with proclaiming the Gospel, making disciples, and equipping believers for ministry. We believe in the scriptural ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper as acts of obedience and testimony.

Christian Conduct
We believe that Christians are called to live for the glory of God and the good of others. They should strive to live holy lives, blameless before the world, and to be faithful stewards of all that God has entrusted to them. Every believer should seek spiritual maturity, growing in grace and knowledge of Christ.

The Last Things
We believe in the imminent rapture of the church and the personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead and establish His millennial kingdom. We believe in the resurrection of the body, the final judgment of believers' works, the eternal joy of the righteous in heaven, and the final judgment and eternal conscious punishment of the wicked in the lake of fire.

Marriage and Family
We believe that marriage is a sacred, God-ordained union from creation, exclusively between one biological man and one biological woman. Sexual relations are reserved for this covenant relationship alone. Christian marriage serves as a representation of Christ’s relationship to His Church. We believe that children are a gift from the Lord and that all human life is sacred, created in the image of God, and worthy of protection from the moment of conception to natural death.
